Abramovic approaching
My final trip with Lady Soul started today with the approach of Abramovics Megayacht Solaris. This 140m yacht was cruising just between Turkey and Greece avoiding Greek waters due to sanctions.
Tonight we will be in Patmos, following Lipsi and Palionissos on my probably last trip with my catamaran Lady Soul.

Turtle guest
For the last three days we had a nice turtle visiting the beautiful bay of Palionisos.

Escaping the heat
It’s hot again in Greece.

First swim of the season
After the excursion to Milos, where I planned to go almost every year and never made it, the last stop before the home base in Kos is Palionissos, as usual.
With more than 30 degrees outside temperature and already 23 degrees in the sea I had to do my first swim of the season. Beautiful!

Le Grand Bleu
Amorgos was the location for the 1988 film shooting of the French movie “Le Grand Bleu”.
But besides the movie Amargos is well known for it’s monistery built into the mountains above a steep cliff.

First Catch of the Season
On our way back today to Kos we just caught a 2.5 kilo Tuna south west of Leros.
It looks like my new equipment provided by Salty Life in Kos already paid off.
Now we have the difficult decision, who we will let prepare the fish for dinner.

2022 Season started
After two years with a lot of Covid restrictions we hope to return to normalcy this year.
As Lady Soul is still waiting for some spare parts, I took the opportunity to skipper a Dream Yacht monohull for Andreas. He was the only crew member to arrive in Kos as all others including the skipper didn’t make it due to Covid related issues.
The first night we spent of course in my favorite anchorage in Palionissos on the island of Kalymnos.
Planned are further stops in Astipalia and Nisyros.
Beginning of May Lady Soul will start sailing and plans for this year include the small Cyclades and Milos, where I had planned to go already some years ago.
